Following the proven success of the 1st Insider Medical MRCS Part B OSCE course in September 2008, we are pleased to announce our new dates for 2009. This course will focus intensively on the curriculum and format of the new PMETB-approved MRCS OSCE that came into existence Autumn 2008.
This course will cover the applied surgical sciences, critical care, surgical anatomy, pathology, patient safety, surgical skills, history taking, communication skills and clinical examinations, for both the generic and specialty-specific stations. You will also have ample opportunity to examine patients with a variety of different clinical signs in an examination setting. Course includes lectures on how to pass all the stations, as well as providing the opportunity for plenty of examination practice under examination conditions with feedback.
Insider Medical will provide you with all the knowledge, experience and clinical skills necessary for you to pass this challenging examination with ease.
MRCS PART A - 1 DAY REVISION CRAMMER COURSE
11 January 2009 Venue: Hammersmith Hospital, London
Our MRCS Part A 1 day Revision Crammer Course focuses intensively on the MCQ papers of the MRCS Examination. The course includes tips on improving your examination technique and will cover all the common topics encountered in the exam. Course fee includes comprehensive lectures, handouts, a mock exam, refreshments and course packs.
MRCS VIVA/ORAL COURSES
17-18 January 2009

Our MRCS Viva Courses focus intensively on the application of the Basic Sciences:
Applied Anatomy, Physiology, Clinical Pathology, Critical Care, Principles of Surgery & Operative Surgery. Course includes lectures on how to succeed in all six areas, as well as "mock vivas".
MRCS CLINICAL COURSES 21-22 February 2009 Venue: Hammersmith Hospital, London

Our MRCS Clinical Courses focus intensively on the examination of patients with the following pathologies:
Skin & Subcutaneous Lesions, Breast & Axilla, Head and Neck, Trunk: Chest/ Abdomen/Groin; Vascular Pathology, Orthopaedic Disorders & Neurology.
Course includes lectures on how to pass all 4 clinical bays, as well as providing the opportunity for plenty of examination practice under examination conditions with feedback. The communication skills element of the examination is also covered.
